Our journey began many years ago when we first came to L’Escala to spend our holidays here. Even then, we instantly fell head over heels in love with this enchanting place and bought our first house.
Over time, more properties followed. Since we had decided to move here before retiring, we began renting out our own houses to holiday guests. Our goal was to offer others the unforgettable experiences we had enjoyed—and still enjoy—here ourselves.
As we repeatedly received requests from other holiday homeowners, whose properties we would have gladly included in our portfolio if they met our high quality standards, the idea of expanding our services was born. We consciously decided to keep the number of properties manageable to ensure a personal level of service—we don’t just want to hand over keys, but to offer our guests and clients a truly individual experience.
Following frequent inquiries from our guests about whether we also offer properties for sale, we completed real estate training last winter. This led to the opening of our own real estate agency in the heart of the old town, right next to the church, in a charming old village house with stone walls and the typical Catalan vaulted ceiling, the volta catalana.
Today, my husband Helmut, our son Oskar, our daughter-in-law Sonya, and I work in this lovely office. Our aim is not only to rent out holiday homes for unforgettable stays, but also to help you find your dream property or make the sales process as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
You’ll not only meet the three of us in our office, but also our dogs—who, just like us, are happy to greet every guest.
